The handle is anodized aluminum and the head and release button are milled from stainless steel. This insures that the release button will not strip out or wallow out over time. You also will notice that the pocket clip will slide around to cover the release button, preventing unwanted release. The spike itself has been milled out of solid steel stock. Comes with a nylon protective sheath. Very high quality and well engineered.
