Mosin Nagant Trigger Return Spring UPGRADE
The Mosin Nagant Rifle is unique in that it does not have a trigger Return Spring. When in the cocked position, the result is a loose trigger that flops around until it engages the sear. Over 80 years ago, the Finnish Army improved the trigger of the M24 by adding a trigger return spring as shown in the top picture.
The simple installation of our trigger spring (Shown in lower picture) will result in the trigger being kept in the forward position, removing the slack and will result with an even pull until the trigger engages the sear. This easy modification gives an improved trigger pull and may help improve accuracy.
This modification/upgrade does not permanently alter your historical C&R Surplus firearm and can just be simply removed. This spring will work on ALL models of Mosin Nagant Rifles.
Installation instructions included:
With action removed from the stock, push the trigger pin until it is flush with the inside of trigger. With short leg of spring against back of trigger and long leg against the bottom of receiver, using thumb, push the spring into center of trigger, while holding spring into place, push trigger pin through spring and back into position.
